As an owner of chickens and goats, I just love painting these animals. I was getting ready to start painting the chicken wire when my instructor, Joe Canto suggest I use real chicken wire. Attaching it wasn't easy, but the end result was worth the struggle.

I have been taking art lessons through our local Adult Continuing Education program. This Spring they offered Painting With Acrylics so I gave it a try. This piece was one of our class assignments. The class chose the basic items and how to arrange them. I chose to ad the lace detail which is a favorite of mine.

After several attempts at deconstructing the real flower, they die overnight, I was able to recreate her beauty out of several different grams of crepe paper. By painting and adding the details. Success. Natures beauty is such an inspiration.
